WRBL Goes Live with CORE:news™

Media General’s Columbus, GA station WRBL is now producing news with Bitcentral’s unified CORE:news platform.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA – January 9, 2015– Today, Bitcentral is announcing the successful launch of Columbus, GA station WRBL. The station went live this morning on Bitcentral’s CORE:news – a complete news production, media management, media collaboration and archiving solution. WRBL stations join over 200 North American broadcasters and over 1000 facilities worldwide utilizing Bitcentral solutions.

CORE:news is a modular production tool that combines content capture, editing, play out, publishing, collaboration, asset management and archiving into a single unified workflow. “We are honored to launch another station with Media General. Bitcentral Concludes Annual Advisory Board Meeting

Each Year Bitcentral hosts its board meeting to bring together some of the greatest minds in the broadcast world to discuss what is currently going on and what the future will bring for the ever changing newsroom workflow.

The session was held for two days in Newport Beach, CA and covered topics related to the current broadcast landscape, recent changes, future opportunities and overall broadcast workflow efficiencies.

Bitcentral Advisory Board members represent many of the largest and most forward-looking Broadcasters and Networks in the world. Included on the Advisory Board are executives from Hearst Television, Gannett, Media General, Raycom Media, Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Bonten Media Group, Meredith, CNN, and KSL-TV.
