Today, we are delighted to announce the addition of media production workflow veteran Jeff Schaetzel to our account leadership team. Schaetzel joins Bitcentral as Account Director, reporting directly to vice president of sales, Ron Rosenthal. Prior to joining Bitcentral, Schaetzel consulted major brands such as CNBC and Goldman Sachs on video direction and production workflows and is a six-time Emmy award winning studio director with a 20-year tenure at ESPN.
During his time at ESPN, Schaetzel, a seasoned studio director, editor and producer, provided major contributions to such legendary programming as SportsCenter, Outside the Lines and Nacion ESPN (ESPN Deportes). He was integral during the 2014 re-launch of SportsCenter in the Digital Center II facility and the network launch of the SEC Network that same year. Before ESPN, Schaetzel worked as a director at CNN and editor at NBC Nightly News. An expert in helping clients transition to a digital workflow for producing content for today’s distributed media landscape, he looks forward to bringing this deep technical acumen to his new role at Bitcentral.

Schaetzel plans to focus on key strategic accounts for Bitcentral, including supporting clients in the sports production market, syncing well with the company’s recent release of its CORE:sports production workflow solution suite.
